Technical Specifications for Processing Prepress Files

1. The artboard must be in the finished or cut-to-size format of the document with the bleeds on the outside of the artboard.

2. A bleed of 0.25” must be present all around the document.

3. Colors must be CMYK or spot colours (PMS) and must have the same name as in the Pantone library and must not have been altered. A resolution between 150 and 200 dpi for raster images at 100% aspect ratio.

4. It is unnecessary to include crop marks in the final PDFs; however, please make sure they are placed outside the bleed if you must have them.

5. The diecut must be on a layer with a 100% spot colour named “Die-Cut”.
